Julian Wild

(b. 1973) trained at Kingston University. Solo exhibitions include shows at Leighton House, Modern Art Oxford, Burghley House, Canary Wharf, Chelsea Arts Club, the Hospital Club and William Benington Gallery. Group exhibitions include shows at Chatsworth House, Modern Art Oxford and The Saatchi Gallery.

 

He was awarded the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea/ Chelsea Arts Club Trust Studio Bursary, short-listed for the Jerwood Sculpture Prize and won the Millfield Sculpture Prize.

 

Commissions include sculpture for the Jerwood Sculpture Park, CASS Sculpture Foundation, Radley College Oxford, Sculpture in the Parklands, Ireland, and the University of Oxford. With work in national collections, he is a recent Vice-Chair of the Royal Society of Sculptors and Chair of its exhibitions committee. Julian is an experienced teacher, currently Sculpture Leader and Lecturer at Art Academy London and formerly for Morley College, London Sculpture Workshop, Loughborough University, Kingston University and The Ruskin.
